Earth Day 2026!

Celebrate Earth Day 2026 with a day of music, learning, and community connection at Caldwell Park in Redding. The Shasta Environmental Alliance is hosting this year’s event, and everyone is invited to come enjoy time outdoors with neighbors, friends, and local organizations working to protect the environment.

Booths throughout the event will offer hands-on activities, environmental education, community science, and simple ways to get involved in local stewardship. Families will find plenty for kids to explore, from creative art stations to nature themed activities that spark curiosity and care for the world around them.

Live music will play throughout the day to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can bring a blanket, wander through the booths, or settle in to enjoy the performances in the open air.

A secure bike corral will be available so people can arrive by bicycle and park safely. This makes it easy to ride in from the Sacramento River Trail or from any of Redding’s bike friendly routes without worrying about leaving a bike unattended.

Earth Day 2026 is a chance to celebrate the environment while supporting the groups and individuals who work every day to protect this region. Join us for a day that brings learning, creativity, and community together in a meaningful way.
