Friends of the Redding Eagles

Organization: Friends of the Redding Eagles
Description:
Friends of the Redding Eagles is a non-profit Community Group that was founded in 2007 when a pair of bald eagles refused to give up their nesting site along the Highway 44 Bridge after a large black cone was placed on their nest. “Patriot” & “Liberty”, with help from F.O.R.E. eventually won the battle & the cone was removed. The eagles have gone on to successfully raise 21 eaglets and continue to nest in Redding. Bald Eagle Education & Conservation is promoted through Eagle Tours, Community Events and a Facebook page with 4.8 thousand likes.
