Organization: Bear Creek Watershed Group (BCWG)
Description: The mission of the Bear Creek Watershed Group (BCWG) is to gather and integrate existing information of the physical, cultural, and demographic variables, which characterize the Bear Creek watershed at present and in the past. The Bear Creek Watershed Group works to protect the resources of this 87,000 acre watershed by obtaining funding for continuing watershed management activities. The Sierra Fund serves as fiscal sponsor of the Bear Creek Watershed Group.
